stop there and let me correct it , i wanna live a life from a new perspective the mall was generally where madi went to get away from everything. most people went and holed themselves up in their room, but being on tour kind of messed that up. she didn’t quite have a room of her own unless she wanted to rent a hotel room. that would be a bit pricey. so she grabbed her purse and headed to the mall, ready to shop until relaxation set in. that wouldn’t take long because, well, madison loved shopping. it was the easiest way to have fun and clear her mind. tour was a good change from living at home, but those problems from home kept creeping up on her and consuming her thoughts. at least she had people to distract her when it was needed the most. her friends knew just how to cure a case of the blues. unfortunately, they weren’t at the mall with the girl.
not having a car really put a damper on going places. it always took forever to decide whether to hail a cab or to walk, and today was no exception. it took a good five minutes of thinking for the pink haired girl to decide to take a taxi. it would make the trip shorter, leaving less time to stress herself out even more. aside from the problems from her past, this tour was stressful. being away from home was difficult. it was her first time being away for such a long time. and work could be a bit demanding, of course. once madison stepped off of the bus, she felt the chill in the air. it was a good idea to wear the jacket she’d put on. after walking to the street, hailing a taxi took seconds, actually. the girl got into the cab and said her destination, the meter beginning to run. the drive was nothing short of hell, as all madi could do was think.
the taxi soon stopped in front of the mall, and the teenager paid the driver before stepping out. oh, the stores were just calling her name. especially hot topic. they sold her hair dye, and she needed to buy some before they headed to the next city. her roots were beginning to show, not too much, but in a few days they would be. there was no hesitation in heading into the mall, but a few steps in, the nicotine craving set in. cool, she needed a cigarette. it was the worst habit she could’ve picked up, and it was all quinten’s fault. he’d bugged her to try it, and it wound up sticking.
turning around, madison avoided some lovey dovey couple and headed back outside. she hated couples like that, mostly because she didn’t have that anymore. sure, he hadn’t been nice, but they were in love. and she still was. that fact annoyed her, but it helped he wasn’t here to constantly remind her how much she liked him still. the brisk air hit her skin and she grimaced. standing out in the cold for a cigarette wasn’t worth it, but the craving wouldn’t go away until she smoked. standing off to the side, madi pulled out her carton of cigarettes and plucked one out, placing it between her lips. her lighter was raised to it and tried to light it, but with little luck. it took a few tries before the flame appeared and lit the cancer stick. inhaling, the teenager held it in for a second before exhaling. “thanks a lot, dick,” she muttered under her breath, looking out across the parking lot as she ‘enjoyed’ the nicotine fix.
you come along because i love your face , and i'll admire your expensive taste - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

His mind was throbbing. Actually, his brain was pressing against his skull, a nice reminder of the previous night he had had. God, hangovers were the absolute worst, and Maddox hated them. It was very rare that he got them, but considering that he couldn't even remeber the previous night, a hangover was to be expected. Taking a sip from his water bottle, he made his way to the smoking area just outside the mall doors before pulling out a cigarette and lighting it, taking a deep drag. Thanks a lot, dick hit his ears, and he turned his head, eyebrows raised slightly as he looked to the girl standing next to him, Excuse me? He wasn't exactly sure if she had been talking to him or not, and to be honest he was hoping she wasn't, because he didn't feel like dealing with people's shit today. His head was hurting entirely too bad for that today, and it was putting him in a horrible mood. One thing was certain; if it weren't for the other band members he probably would have woken up somewhere, with no idea where in the hell he was at the time. Though, that really wouldn't be anything new for Maddox. It had happened to him quite a few times, and it always made for quite the awkward situation. Turning back to his cigarette, he took another drag, zoning out slightly as he gazed across the parking lot and allowing the thoughts swirling through his mind to melt away as the smoke he was exhaling was doing just at that moment. He was grateful for the nicotine and water, because both were making the throbbing in his head lessen with each drag and each sip. He just wished he could remember the night; it had clearly been crazy, because he had woken up with raw claw marks across his chest, torso, and sides. It looked as if some beast had gotten a hold of him, but he knew it had just been some girl with nails, though he couldn't remember who for the life of him.
Though that wasn't too much of a surprise either. Even if he had been sober, he wouldn't care to remember her. He was the fuck and ditch type, and he wasn't shy about it, not in the least. His reputation was well known, just as his name was; yet, girls still flocked like crazy to him, and he didn't complain about it either. If they were willing to put out, he was willing to please. It didn't even matter if he was an asshole to the girls; they kept coming back time and time again. Now, glancing over at the pink haired girl next to him, he had to admit that she was quite pretty. Lighting another cigarette, he wondered if she was part of the tour. He hadn't ever seen her before, or at least he thought he hadn't. But he saw so many people every day, that they kind of had begun to blur together by this point. This tour was big, and very well known, and people were constantly coming and going from the area every single day and night. After exhaling, he looked at the girl and spoke, his voice a bit gruff from the effects of the night before, You part of the tour? I don't think I've seen you around before. If she was, great. If she wasn't, great. It really made no difference to Maddox; he was merely curious. Glancing around, he nodded at a group of young girls that were whispering and pointing to him from not very far away. Sometimes he didn't mind the attention, but there were times when the fangirls simply drove him crazy.
After a few moments, he finished off his second cigarette and slid the lighter back into his pocket. Turning towards the doors, he glanced over at the pink haired girl, Here alone? 'Cause you can walk around with me if you want. You seem a bit disgruntled. He was hoping she wouldn't mistake the offer for him being nice, because in all honesty he wasn't being. The company would be nice, but that was about the extent of his reasoning for inviting her along. He was mainly out for new gauges. He was getting tired of the ones he had in now, and figured that he was in need and well deserving of some new ones. A few new shirts and such couldn't really hurt either, could they? Pushing his way through the throng of people in the entrance, he stepped into the foodcourt of the large mall and paused, glancing around for a few moments in order to get his bearings, but it wasn't long before a group of young girls basically swarmed him. Stepping back slightly, he bit the inside of his lip to hide his annoyance, signing a few quick autographs before looking over his shoulder to see if the pink haired girl had followed him. If she had, he was sure that she was either laughing at the fact that he had been inside for less than two minutes and had already been swarmed, or the fact that he was extremely annoyed by being swarmed. In all reality, he wasn't here to sign autographs and all those other things. He was here to relax, and recover from the night before.
