Outspoken: Melissa seems to always be popping up with random words of insult or advice. She's a helpful person at times, as long as you're only asking for her help when she's sober. It doesn't matter who you are or what click you're in, it's as simple as this: She hates to see people picked on or bullied, and as long as you haven't crossed the girl in the past, she'll be there to help you when you need it. But on the other hand, if you have had a problem with her, Melissa won't waste her time talking behind your back or silently ruining your life. She prefers the more confrontational method of fixing things.
A Little Random: She may have a tough exterior but on the inside it's a mixture of the two. She loves to laugh and smile and to have a good time but she's also very protective of her friends. She doesn't like to see them hurt. As for herself, Mel has had enough pain in her life she's learned how to mask her emotions well. Sure, her temper bubbles over the most and you'll rarely see her cry unless your one of her close friends, those of which she doesn't have many of due to the consistent trust problems she's encountered in her rotations on this earth.
A Quiet Girl?: Not at all. Melissa is in love with the party life and everything that goes along with it. Take for instance, the bright side: drinks, laughing, lights, dancing, music, random hookups etc. The girl has made many friends in the bright lights of the club, whether it be buying someone a drink or just returning a dropped purse she watched fall. She loves the buzz that tends to burn her brain on a nightly basis, but I wouldn't exactly call her an alcoholic. The dark side of the club however, she's flirted with as well. Drug dealers dealing things young girls should never touch, but the exotic taste always did taunt her. You would figure being spun out in the bathroom of enough clubs would teach the kid a lesson, but apparently not. She still dabbles in the dark side, though she's learned enough sense to stay away from the majority of it.
Loyal: Extremely. Melissa is like well, a well trained dog. She follows [most] directions well, when not forced to do them. She tends to end up as the one whom people confide in, for some strange reason. She doesn’t exactly look trustworthy, but as long as you don't betray her own good judgment your secrets will never leak to the outside world. However, don't take that as immediate friendship, if it comes down between yourself and her, she will save her own neck in the end. With her background, she's learned that yes, friendship and trust is important, but saving your own ass should always come first, and it usually does.
Overall: She’s like a little tornado basically. She isn’t bi polar, but she can switch her emotions up as quickly as the best actors. With her ADHD, she bounces off the walls and tends to talk to strangers about random things like ice cream or a new cd that came out. Even though she doesn’t trust easily, she has many close friends that are alright with her being so…separate from their emotions. She keeps her past in the past, and her eyes focused on the future since that seems like the only bright thing in her life.
My past is nothing special,

You know the family’s that are always used on diaper commercials? Yeah, you do, the ones that live in suburbia and never stop smiling even to take a drink of water. Well, that’s how Melissa’s family was. Smiling all the time, barely anything bad happening. Seriously, her goldfish lived for like six months. That’s ridiculous and you know it. So imagine the surprise when her father, her role model, the man who was suppose to see her graduate from high school, tell her she couldn’t have a boyfriend till she was married and couldn’t have sex till she was dead, died himself.
The morning was horrid, and it still replays itself in the young girls mind every chance her eyes close for longer then ten minutes. Melissa was six, and had lived many a happy years in a small house in suburbia wonderland with her father Robert and her mother Linda. The routine was flawless: wake up at seven and get ready for school, then kiss her parents good bye and skip to the bus stop with her neighbor and also best friend at the time. But this morning, something felt off. Maybe it was all the strange voices melissa could hear coming through the closed bedroom door that didn’t belong to the television her parents usually had on to listen to the news in the morning. A still halfway asleep melissa venture out of her room and became wide awake at once to the fact of her mother collapsed against a wall crying hysterically and a paramedic shaking his head sadly and murmuring about funeral arrangements and if they needed anything, he would be a call away. This mans name was Andrew, and he really did keep up with the call thing. But right now isn’t about him. He comes back later. Skipping ahead to the teenage years sounds fun, yeah?
Everyone goes through that teenage attitude adjustment. Hating your parents and everyone else around you. Melissa was different though. She genuinely tried her hardest not to hate her mother who was still having a hard time adjusting to life alone, though she had been seeing the paramedic turned computer nerd on and off for six years. Melissa current age was fifteen and her family was still broken. Having it been just herself and her mother for so long, melissa had turned to the streets for a better life. Skateboarding was a daily part of her life since the other kids she hung out with did it as well. These kids were the kids most parents wanted to keep their kids as far away as possible from. The street urchins were Melissa’s best friends and family, and they were the ones that introduced her to her first drug.
It started off small you know, a hit of weed here and there and the occasional cigarette that turned into a rather large nicotine addiction. Her mother was gradually turning her life around and Linda and Andrew were an official couple by now. Her mother had quit smoking and drinking all together, while melissa was taking up the habits like wildfire. She was getting closer to her sixteenth birthday and parting with twenty plus year olds every night. School? Pftt, what school? She went when she needed to, meaning finals and that was about it. She truly was a smart girl when she put her mind to it.
Then, everything just…changed. It started with the day of her sixteenth birthday. Her friends promised her adventure and she knew she would get it. They pushed her into a car that they normally used to ride around town in when it wasn’t nice enough outside to skate from point a to point b. They said that they had a few errands to do before the party that night, and melissa just shrugged it off, happily smoking cigarette after cigarette and taking a few swigs from a hidden alcohol bottle in the back seat along with the others. It wasn’t until dark fell and she found herself alone in the car with lights flashing around her that she truly started to flip out. She was dragged from the car and didn’t bother to put up a fight because she figured she hadn’t done anything wrong, so nothing bad would come to her. Youthful wishes. Apparently since she had been found in the car alone, she would be charged alone. Possession of cocaine and marijuana with intent to sell, slapped nicely on her permanent record and colorful police file. It really wasn’t until that moment in time that she truly appreciated Andrew’s character. He bailed her out and managed to get the charges pulled when her friends were found a few blocks away with half of the stash plus some other narcotics melissa didn’t even bother to ask about.
She was slapped with a visit to a rehab facility and was promptly kicked out after mouthing off to one of the wardens there. But that wasn’t the end for Melissa’s rehab stays. She was then destined to a rehab facility in California and there also took part in anger management classes, which failed miserably as well. After that she was promptly sent away to boarding school while Linda and Andrew set off on a whirlwind romance that ended in marriage. Seems a bit unfair doesn’t it? She’s stuck at school learning things she never wants to use ever in her life while their off sipping mimosas by the beach. Parents can be so cruel sometimes.
Anyways, after coming back from her Lindsay Lohan stint, she reconnected with girls from school and eventually ended up with Oh Fire Fire and personally loves where she is in her life at the time being. Now that shes gone from the UK and in America of all places, she's looking forward to a new start where no one knows her except for the fantastic band that shes apart of.

Melissa had dressed casually today, like she did every day, and to accomidate the heat LA heat. It was only the first day of warped but melissa felt like it'd been a year, but maybe that was because she always attended atleast two warped tours every year, that way she could see every band on the line up annd meet as many people as possible throughout the day. Thanks to pre-tour events, melissa had made a couple of friends and was enjoying their company. Nothing screamed fast friendship like booze and bands to pass the day. Speaking of booze, melissa had a deal with the guys who worked the alcohol tent. Even though she was underage and such, they still sold her beer. Well, actually they didnt even sell it to her. One of the perks of being a crew member was free food and drinks, beer being a drink. or if the lines were stupid long, it was also food. Grinning she hopped up speaking quickly to the others in the tent that she would be back momentarily and be armed with beer for them all. Before leaving however, the girl needed to protect herself. Sunglasses were snatched from the table, rather large black ones that she had found on the bus and that she believed belonged to Kyle, but she wasnt going to question it because she liked them too much. She didnt need sun screen due to the fact that she didnt really burn and she'd only be in the sun for a few minutes. Last but not least, she opened the ice chest and grabbed out a freezing water gun that she had filled up earlier, and stuck it in her back pocket, the majority hanging out though it wouldn't fall unless grabbed.
Having dressed in black shorts that were well, short, and loose white tank top with her favorite red bikini top underneath, along with some original ankle high black converse, she looked like every other kid that visited warped tour every year. Grinning she bounced away from the merch tent and headed towards the booze tent, making quick timeand dodging kids here and there, she arrived at the tent and passed up the line, heading to the window she leaned against it with a grin. Paulie, my favorite alcohol vender in the world! Can you hook a sister up?! she questioned with a laugh as she reached across, bumping fists with the man as he laughed and handed her a plastic red cup in return. Flashing a wide grin and a very loud confession of her love for him, she bounced a few feet away from the tent, hiding in the shade of a tree and looked around, bringing the cups to her lip with a secretive smile. Mhmm, nothing like cold beer on a hot day. Savoring the taste she listened to the sounds of bands on stages a couple yards away, foot tapping to the beat as she felt her squirt gun falling from her pocket, or rather being pulled she snatched it out quickly and turned, finger ready to start spraying as she held the squirt gun threatening, a lopsided grin on your face give me one legit reason why i shouldn't hose you right here, right now! melissa squeaked, trying her hardest not to laugh.
